Shark Tank Biography

Robert Herjavec is a fast paced, high energy, high tech, savvy investor from Croatia. Robert’s favorite advice for entrepreneurs is that if he can do it then they can do it. He immigrated from Croatia to Canada at age 8 with his mother and father. With only one suitcase, $20, and no understanding of the English language he has persevered to get to where he is today. Robert earned his way into the tank by selling his internet security software company to AT&T in 2000 for $150 million. He also helped build and sell a technology company to Nokia for $225 million a few years later. Robert has appeared in every episode through the first four seasons. He  is a team player in the tank and prefers to partner with one or two other sharks when making a deal. Robert is very good at bringing sharks together to invest in a business and combine their expertise and resources.
